Awesome, but . . . .

I bought these shorts a year ago. They are comfortable and flattering. Because I have lots of other biking short, I've probably worn them about ten times. I was shocked today when I discovered a hole along a rear seam. They are no longer wear-able. I only wash them on gentle cycle with other Spandex-like athletic wear, and I always line dry them. These are great shorts, but they should last longer than a year with minimal wear and proper care.

Great for cycling in pregnancy

I was searching for a chamois short I could wear in later months of pregnancy. The soft yoga pant material and wide band sit perfectly under the bump. I bought my first pair online on sale from REI and then stocked up on two more pairs directly from Shebeest.

Had high hopes...but hated the waistband

One bend over to touch my toes and the super wide waistband rolled over. Also found the padding to go up a bit high on the backside - well beyond sit bones. Didn't want to chance fidgeting with the band or extra padding on a ride so retuned and will have to continue my search for a great pair of bike shorts.
